Seller Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Edusekart Seller Platform. These Seller Terms & Conditions ("Seller Terms") govern the relationship between Edusekart, a brand operated by Eduse Marketing Private Limited, and registered sellers using the Edusekart marketplace.

By registering as a seller, accessing the seller panel, listing products, or conducting business through the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Seller Terms & Conditions.

Marketplace Relationship

Edusekart operates as a technology-enabled marketplace connecting customers with independent sellers.

The seller remains the seller of record for all products listed and sold through the marketplace.

Edusekart:

  • Provides marketplace technology and infrastructure.
  • Facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers.
  • Does not own inventory listed by sellers.
  • Does not manufacture products listed by sellers.
  • Does not become the legal owner of products sold by sellers.

Seller Eligibility

To register and sell on Edusekart, sellers must:

  • Be legally authorized to conduct business in India.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Provide accurate registration information.
  • Submit required KYC and verification documents.
  • Provide valid GST details where applicable.
  • Provide a valid PAN.
  • Provide valid bank account details for settlements.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Seller Account Verification

Edusekart reserves the right to verify seller information at any time.

Additional documentation may be requested for compliance, verification, fraud prevention, or marketplace quality control purposes.

Edusekart may reject, suspend, or terminate seller accounts if verification requirements are not met.

Product Listings

Sellers are solely responsible for all products listed on the platform.

Sellers must ensure that:

  • Product information is accurate.
  • Product images accurately represent the product.
  • Pricing is correct.
  • Inventory availability is maintained.
  • Products comply with applicable laws.
  • Product descriptions are not misleading.

Edusekart reserves the right to edit, reject, suspend, or remove listings that violate marketplace policies.

Product Quality Standards

Sellers must ensure that all products:

  • Are genuine and authentic.
  • Meet quality standards.
  • Comply with safety regulations.
  • Are fit for their intended purpose.
  • Do not violate intellectual property rights.
  • Match the product description displayed to customers.

Pricing Responsibility

Sellers are responsible for setting and maintaining accurate product pricing.

Pricing must not:

  • Be misleading.
  • Contain hidden charges.
  • Violate applicable pricing regulations.
  • Create unfair marketplace practices.

Inventory Management

Sellers must maintain accurate inventory levels.

Selling products that are unavailable, out of stock, or cannot be fulfilled may result in seller performance penalties or account restrictions.

Order Fulfillment

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Processing orders promptly.
  • Packaging products securely.
  • Preparing shipments on time.
  • Maintaining delivery standards.
  • Providing accurate shipment information.

Repeated delays or fulfillment failures may affect seller account standing.

Returns & Refunds

Sellers must honor the return, replacement, and refund policies applicable to their listed products.

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Reviewing return requests.
  • Processing approved returns.
  • Approving eligible refunds.
  • Resolving product-related disputes.

Tax Compliance

Sellers are solely responsible for:

  • GST compliance.
  • Tax invoicing.
  • Tax filings.
  • Regulatory compliance.
  • Maintaining business records.

Edusekart shall not be responsible for seller tax obligations.

Intellectual Property Compliance

Sellers must ensure that products, content, images, logos, videos, trademarks, and descriptions do not violate any intellectual property rights.

Sellers may be required to provide proof of authorization or ownership upon request.

Prohibited Products

Sellers must not list products prohibited by law, marketplace policies, regulatory authorities, or the Edusekart Prohibited Products Policy.

Listings violating these requirements may be removed immediately.

Customer Service Obligations

Sellers must maintain professional conduct while interacting with customers.

Sellers should respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, and order-related issues.

Seller Performance Monitoring

Edusekart may monitor seller performance based on factors including:

  • Order fulfillment rates.
  • Cancellation rates.
  • Return rates.
  • Customer complaints.
  • Policy violations.
  • Product quality issues.

Poor performance may result in warnings, restrictions, suspension, or account termination.

Account Suspension & Termination

Edusekart reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate seller accounts for:

  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Policy violations.
  • Counterfeit products.
  • Intellectual property infringement.
  • Regulatory non-compliance.
  • Repeated customer complaints.
  • Marketplace abuse.

Limitation of Liability

Edusekart shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from seller use of the marketplace.

Seller participation on the platform is undertaken at the seller's own risk.

Modification of Terms

Edusekart reserves the right to modify these Seller Terms & Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will be published on the platform and become effective immediately unless otherwise stated.

Governing Law

These Seller Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Faridabad, Haryana, India.
